Free RPG Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Now Also on PC, But There are Problems
The release of the free F2P RPG Potter: Magic Awakened on mobile devices (and PC, as it turned out) is running into problems. Players from different corners of the world cannot log in.
A week ago we informed about the free game Harry Potter: Magic Awakened - a mix of RPG and card game was scheduled to debut today at 11:00 a.m. CET on mobile devices with Android and iOS (as well as PC, as it turned out). However, it appears that for now the launch has only taken place in certain regions of Asia, Australia and Oceania, and Africa.
After downloading the game on PC, the map below is displayed. The regions marked with the padlock icon cannot be logged in at the moment. It is possible that overloaded servers of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened are the "culprit". VPN-type software may help in getting onto them.
It's hard to say when the title will actually be available worldwide. In this thread on Facebook players from all corners of the world - including the Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Vietnam, Brazil and the United States - are reporting login problems. Significantly, they affect users of all platforms.
It remains to wait until studio NetEase and Portkey Games will rectify the situation. Let's hope that "Potteromaniacs" will not have to wait long.
