Halo Wars 2 free demo available and PC specs revealed
You can try out the free demo/beta of Halo Wars 2 until January 30. Apart from having a taste of gameplay, you can also make sure that your hardware can handle the game.
If you own an Xbox One or Windows 10 PC you can now try out Halo Wars 2 demo through January 30 – you can download it from Windows Store. The demo features all-new Blitz mode beta, “an action-packed twist on RTS gameplay that combines card-based strategy with explosive combat”. In it, players get to collect heroes, vehicles and troops cards and use them in fast-action battles.
A couple of days ago 343 Industries announced that Halo Wars 2 had gone Gold. It means that nothing will now threaten the release date, which is set to February 21, 2017. You can pre-order the game, which, incidentally, is going to be available in Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning that you don’t need to buy it twice in order to play on PC and XONE interchangeably.
