Halo TV Series Airing Schedule

It was reported that the upcoming Halo series will be released in the first quarter of 2022. Contrary to previous announcements, the production will debut on Paramount, and not on the Showtime channel.

We finally found out when we will be able to watch the Halo TV series. The premiere is planned for the first quarter of 2022.

We will have to wait a long time for the series, which is not a surprise. The much bigger surprise is the fact that contrary to earlier announcements, the production will not debut on the Showtime channel. Instead, it will be offered by Paramount, the streaming service that will soon replace CBS All Access.

The series was originally supposed to be released this year, but the pandemic forced a halt in production and a delay of the premiere. The delay in works caused the actress Natascha McElhone, who was to play Cortana, to resign from the project. She was replaced by Jen Taylor, providing the voice of this character in all games from the series.

David Nevins, CBS' chief creative officer, promises that the series will offer the dynamic action known from the console games, but at the same time will enrich it with a broader perspective of humanity's war with the Covenant and psychologically deepened stories of Spartans.

The project will be in good company at Paramount. CBS Access airs such science-fiction series as Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. However, the managers of the service do not want to rely on just one futuristic IP. They were looking for a production that could become one of the new hallmarks of the service. After they saw the first fragments of the Halo series, they thought they found exactly what they were looking for and the decision was made to move the project from Showtime to Paramount .
