Rockstar is Looking for Staff to Fight Cheaters in GTA Online and RDR Online
Rockstar Games wants to hire two people for analyst positions. The tasks of new employees will be directly related to the ongoing fight against cheaters.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Rockstar Games is looking for two employees to help the company fight cheaters in GTA Online and RDR Online;
- The job offers are for an Associate Cheat Operation Analyst and a Senior Cheat Software Analyst.
It's no secret that Rockstar Games' online game modes - Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online - have cheater issues. It seems that the developers are also aware of this fact. The studio is looking for new employees, whose duties will focus on fighting this problem.
The company wants to hire an Associate Cheat Operations Analyst who will take care of the day-to-day operation of the anti-cheat and anti-fraud software by monitoring the situation, examining reported cases of potential violations and enforcing the rules where necessary.
The second offer (Senior Cheat Software Analyst) will look at the same problems, but from the software side. On his list of tasks we'll find, among others, the study of malicious code and improving existing in-game solutions to fight cheats in such a way that they are able to cope with new types of threats.
We can only hope that the actions taken by Rockstar Games will indeed result in a better experience for those who play GTA Online and RDR Online.
