GTA 6 Trailer Release Date; Rockstar Reveals Exact Time [Update]
Rockstar will release the first GTA 6 trailer next Tuesday. The long wait will be over.
Update: If anyone still doubts that Rockstar Games will open a whole "new chapter" in its story any day now, they will find further proof on Instagram. The developer has deleted more than four thousand posts from its account, leaving only one - the following announcement of the release date for new GTA's trailer (thanks, Okami13!).
On November 8, Rockstar Games announced that it will unveil the first trailer for GTA VI in early December. A few moments ago, the studio's X/Twitter profile posted information that the trailer will be made available on Tuesday, December 5, at midnight.
The news is accompanied by the above graphic. The palm trees visible on it are a solid clue - in line with many earlier reports - that the action of GTA VI was to be set in Vice City, a city known from GTA: Vice City and GTA: Vice City Stories, which was modeled on Miami, Florida.
It can be expected that it is on Tuesday that we will learn the first details about GTA VI, including the approximate release date of the game and the target platforms. Will the game, following the example of the fourth installment and Red Read Redemption II, come out first on consoles - PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S - and only later on PC? Or will the studio abandon this "tradition" and their upcoming work will be released simultaneously for all three aforementioned platforms? We will know the answer to these questions on Tuesday.
Funnily enough, a separate message appeared on the official website of Rockstar Games, announcing when we will see the trailer in question. We have to admit that the developers are not waste time for excessive number of words. The full content of this message is presented in the graphic below.
