GTA 6 May Feature Weapons Unseen in 14 Years
An iconic weapon that was last seen in the series 14 years ago may be coming to GTA VI. The information was shared by a former Rockstar employee.
Rockstar must've bit on the world's toughest jawbreakers, as it has remained assiduously silent on any information regarding GTA VI. It's no wonder, then, that news about the game, which comes to light from a variety of leaks, fires up the imagination of gamers. One such leaker reveals that the latest installment of Grand Theft Auto may feature the Chainsaw.
Chainsaw may make its way into GTA VI
The information comes from the LinkedIn profile of a former Rockstar employee who boasted about what he has worked on in the past. Sayan Saha, for that is the artist's name, reported that he was involved in creating 2D assets, including but not limited to prop labels such as chainsaw.
This means that the item may indeed make its way into the game, although it may not necessarily be a weapon that will be used. It's worth mentioning that the saw was last seen in GTA in Chinatown Wars from 2009, and before that it was present in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
Interestingly, the post by the former Rockstar employee has already been deleted, but nothing dies on the Internet what cannot be later found on Reddit.
This turn of events could mean that everything Sayan Saha wrote about was true, although we will be 100% certain only after the release of GTA VI, provided we are not busy taking care of our own great-grandchildren by then. In the meantime we can look forward to the remake of the iconic "4".
