GTA 6 Announcement Could Come in 2023
Journalist Tom Henderson continues to maintain that Grand Theft Auto VI could be announced next year.
September's big leak may have been devastating for the devs of Grand Theft Auto VI, but it did not translate into the appearance of official information about the game. Nevertheless informant Tom Henderson believes that the sixth GTA will be announced in 2023
The journalist, who is known for providing verified information, has long maintained, that GTA 6 should debut in either 2024 or 2025 (which, he says, has earned him the aversion of the community). Henderson remains confident about this release date.
In that case, the announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI next year would "perfectly" fit in with the existing release policy of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, which have a habit of announcing their gamesa year or two before release.
The bad news is that - according to the informant - the unveiling of the game in 2023 would point to a release at a later date, i.e. 2025. Yes, the informant mentions Microsoft's alleged speculation about a 2024 debut, but - as we wrote some time ago - it can hardly be considered an actual leak.
Tom Henderson mentioned GTA 6 in the context of an article published on Insider Gaming about the five announcements he expects to see in 2023. In addition to the work of Rockstar Games, the journalist expects the Switch successor to be revealed (yes, a successor - the so-called Pro version will most likely not be created), a new PlayStation 5 model and the so-called Project Keystone.
The informant also expects Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard to be finalized, provided the deal is not hindered by interventions of further officials and players.
