Grounded Version 1.0 Could be Delayed Until 2023
Rumors have surfaced online suggesting that Obsidian Entertainment may not make it in time to release version 1.0 of Grounded, the online survival game currently in early access, this year.
We have bad news for fans of Grounded, the online survival game from Obsidian Entertainment. It seems that version 1.0 of the game will not be released this year.
Version 1.0 of Grounded not out until 2023?
Grounded debuted in early access in 2020. In the plans for this year was the release of version 1.0, but now there are rumors that the game may suffer a delay
- The source of these reports is the usually very knowledgeable journalist Jeff Grubb from Venture Beat.
- In the new episode of the GrubbSnax podcast the journalist stated that the release of version 1.0 of Grounded may be delayed until 2023.
- Grubb stresses that this is only a possibility, and that the delay is not yet a foregone conclusion.
It remains to be hoped that the possible slip will not be large.
As you may remember, the game is available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. On Steam, the game seems to have its best days behind it - yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day Grounded had 2,834 concurrent players, which is not a very impressive result in comparison with the record of 32,000 users, set seven months ago.
It is worth mentioning, however, that the results from Steam do not give a full picture of the game's condition. Not only is it also available on Xbox consoles, but it is also part of the Game Pass subscription service.
