Grounded - How to Defeat Black Widow?

Grounded has finally lived to see its full release. Along with update 1.0, new biomes and animal species, among other things, have arrived in the game. One of the creatures that appeared in the patch is the Black Widow. Below you will learn what this creature is and how to defeat it.

Where to find Black Widow - locations?

Black Widow is one of the more powerful enemies in the game. Fortunately, it is rarely encountered. You will only find it in three places:

1. In the Upper Grasslands, in a cave under a toolbox;
2. In the southern Moldorc Highlands, under a pile of stones;
3. in the Undershed.

As you can see, these spiders live only in caves. When walking in open areas, you do not have to fear them.

Fighting the Black Widow

If you encounter the Black Widow, you must prepare for a difficult fight. This spider is immune to literally all types of damage and has no weaknesses. Its attacks, on the other hand, can poison you, which deals specific damage over time. As if that weren't enough, this effect can be cumulative. So it's best if you face it in the endgame, when you have the best possible equipment.

Black Widow is, in short, a massive damage sponge. Fighting it is mainly based on inflicting a small amount of damage with any weapon and avoiding its blows. In addition, you should carry as much healing items as possible. If you have the opportunity to do so, you can try to lead the spider into a narrow tunnel. Then it will lose the ability to quickly move around your character.
