Great Sales of World War Z on Epic Games Store
Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have issued a press release informing about the sales of the co-op shooter World War Z. Also Epic Games boasts the game's sales.
Saber Interactive Studio and Focus Home Interactive informed in a press release that the cooperative shooter World War Z, based on a film license under the same title, has already sold over a million copies. The game debuted on April 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
"Saber is extremely thrilled by the performance of the game on all platforms. On the PC specifically, we are performing way above expectations thanks to the support we have received from the Epic Games Store," said Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch. "Moving forward, we’ll continue to work on growing the game and its community with new improvements, stability updates and bonus gameplay content, beginning very soon with a special new mission for the Tokyo episode."
It is also worth noting the good results of the PC edition. On Twitter, Epic Games boasts that the Epic Games Store has sold a quarter of a million copies of World War Z (the PC version of the game is available only on this platform). Thanks to this result, among other things, the past weekend was the best ever in the history of EGS.
