In this guide we will present some useful tips regarding God of Weapons. With us, you will beat the game.
God of Weapons is a new small hit on Steam. Thousands of players are intrigued by this title which joins hordes of enemies from Vampire Survivors and equipment management from Backpack Hero. If you are a fan of both of these games, you should definitely check out this title. If you do so, we have some tips for you in our God of Weapons guide to make your start a little bit easier.
God of Weapons Tips for Beginners
- Move a lot – unless you are a character with firepower strong enough to decimate opponents, you have to run, especially on the more difficult levels. A good idea is to lure enemies in the middle of the map and do circles around them.
- You can reroll – remember that it is possible to reroll the shop and backpack expansions. Use it often.
- Upgrade your equipment – the further you go, the bigger chance to get a higher tier item is. Don’t be afraid of selling your old equipment and putting in this place a better one.
- You can’t stop the run – if you decide to stop playthrough at any stage, you will have to start from the beginning (character selection screen) next time.
- Check unlocking requirements – there are many things to unlock in the game, starting from new characters and ending on new weapons and in-game achievements (which also grant rewards). It is a smart move to focus your runs on getting as much rewards as possible.
- Upgrade your characters between runs – there is the Statue and the Armory in the hub. Thanks to them, it is possible to buy permanent perks and items to purchase during runs.
- You don’t have to kill everyone – while it is a good thing to kill as many opponents as you can, you don’t have to clear the stage. If you are badly wounded, run away and use dashes. Your goal is to survive some time.
- Don’t leave empty spaces – this game is in a big part about equipment management, you are as strong as your backpack content. You can put something even in a one slot gap.
- Start with The Hunter – if you struggle with the game, start with this character. He is quite easy to handle and can survive a run without problems.
