The game is universally praised for its combat system, interesting setting and significant improvements in mechanics introduced in comparison with previous installment. The main criticisms are repetitiveness and the limited variety of locations.
Mixed feelings are evoked by the plot, which is much more elaborate than in typical productions of this type, but some of its elements are less than original, and the way the story is presented leaves a little to be desired.
All in all, despite its shortcomings, God Eater 3 appears to be the best part of the cycle and a position worthy of attention for both the fans of the brand and action RPGs of this sort in general. It is also a recommendable production for people who have already played Monster Hunter: World and are looking for something new but similar.
