Well, nowadays players should be ready for the worst when we talk about technical issues on launch. There are really not so many releases which are in a good shape Day 1. Well… Ghost of Tsushima is definitely not one of them. There are many problems which plagues players. Numerous discussions on Steam are about them. The game crashes, PSN and servers are not working properly, the title can’t be started (at least there is an easy fix for that) to name a few. The list does not end here. Fans also report that audio randomly disappears during cutscenes. Moreover, subtitles vanish, too.

Many players do not expect technically perfect games on launch. We have observed too many difficult starts in recent years to be surprised by some bugs and glitches. Ghost of Tsushima is also the example of a title which is full of problems. Of course they will be patched during the next few days. However, before that, we have to endure and be patient.

If you decide to give GoT a chance right now, you might be in for an unpleasant surprise during cutscenes. Numerous players report that audio glitches in random moments, and as a consequence voice can’t be heard. It is not the only problem though, because at the same time subtitles tend to disappear, too. No spoken or written language… it can influence the flow of storytelling.

Some fans have managed to find solutions to their issues, you can try activating spatial sounds in a soundbar or turn off audio enhancement in Windows audio settings. Hopefully, it will help you.
