Ghost of Tsushima Becomes Sony's Best-selling Game in Japan
Ghost of Tsushima has sold more copies than Marvel's Spider-Man in Japan, making it the best-selling game from a Sony-owned studio in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Jin defeated Spider-Man.
An independent industry analyst known as Benji-Sales informed on Twitter, citing Famitsu, that Ghost of Tsushima became the best-selling title from a Sony-owned studio in the history of Japan. Sucker Punch managed to beat the current leader, Insomniac Games' Spider-Man, in just over three weeks after its release. The title found over 330 thousand buyers in the Land of the Rising Sun at that time.
Ghost of Tsushima was released on July 17, 2020, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
