Every Path of Exile 2 player dreams of their ideal build, complete with the perfect uniques and the most powerful passives. Now, everyone's attention has shifted to the Ingenuity Utility Belt. How to get Ingenuity Utility Belt in PoE 2
The Ingenuity Utility Belt is a unique item in Path of Exile 2 that instantly applies a portion of Flask Recovery and enhances the bonuses from your equipped rings. If that’s not impressive enough, I’m not sure what else could be. Trust me, it’s a highly recommended piece of gear for any build.
The Ingenuity Utility Belt isn’t something you’ll find dropping from random mobs or even unique monsters. Currently, the only way to obtain it is by defeating The King in the Mists. And no, this isn’t the optional boss from Act 1 in the Freythorn area. The King in the Mists that drops the Ingenuity Utility Belt resides in the Crux of Nothingness, a location accessible only through the use of An Audience With the King in a personal map device. This item can be obtained as a reward from Nameless Rituals.
Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee the boss will drop the belt on your first attempt. However, the fight is still worth your time, as he always drops at least one unique item along with other valuable goodies. And when you finally get it, try to gamble and turn it into a corrupted item to potentially achieve an even higher bonus rate from your equipped rings.
Ingenuity Utility Belt and Orb of Chance in PoE 2
The biggest misconception about obtaining the Ingenuity Utility Belt in PoE 2 is the suggestion by some players that it can be created by using an Orb of Chance on a normal-quality Utility Belt. Unfortunately, this isn’t true. Orbs of Chance can only turn items into uniques from the generic drop pool, whereas Ingenuity is exclusively dropped by specific bosses.
