Final Cliffhanger in Gen V May Not be What It Seems; Andre Actor has an Intriguing Theory
The actor playing the role of Andre Andreson from Gen V has a theory about the first season's finale. Some of the main characters ended up in an unspecified location, but the actor has some suspicions about where they are.
In the final seconds of the final episode of Gen V viewers could see Marie, Jordan, Emma and Andre in an unspecified room without windows or doors. The characters are wearing hospital gown, and the beds are equipped with medical equipment. The show did not provide answers where the four characters ended up.
Portraying Andre, Chance Perdomo has his own theory, which he shared with the fans. He belives the four characters ended up in a place under Seven's tower. In the third season of The Boys Queen Maeve was held there for some time (vide Variety):
"I think it was in the last season of The Boys. Queen Maeve was trapped in a similar place, I think it was also all white. In my opinion, it's possible that there is a whole complex of such cells underground, under Seven's tower. That's what I'm hoping, because it gives a chance for an epic escape scene. We might have to ask Mr. Billy Butcher for help. Wouldn't that be great?"
The actor's theory is interesting, but we don't know when or if it will be confirmed. The first season of Gen V served as an introduction to the fourth season of The Boys and for now it has not been revealed whether the spin-off characters will make their debut in the main superhero show. They are certainly an important element in the intrigue that is about to begin.
Gen V turned out to be a huge success for Amazon, and even before the season's finale, there was news that the show would be extended for another season. This guarantees that at least some of the main cast of the spin-off will stay with us for a while longer, and the white room will certainly not be the only mystery to unfold.
