Gentlymad developer and Assemble Entertainment publisher released a gameplay trailer for Endzone: A World Apart, new strategy game belonging to the sub-genre of city builders, whose action is set in a post-apocalyptic universe. On the trailer, the creators describe the basic gameplay mechancs.
In terms of the overall game objectives, Endzone: A World Apart seems to resemble Frostpunk from the Polish developer 11 bit studios. Our task is to build a city and manage a community that functions in an exceptionally unfavourable environment. The list of hazards includes sandstorms, radioactive contamination, toxic rain and floods. We have to collect various resources, supervise the economy, build structures (several dozen types) and make choices that significantly affect the lives of our citizens.
Endzone: A World Apart is coming exclusively for PC. The game will debut in Steam's early access next spring.
