Future of No Man's Sky is an Endless List of New Features and Improvements

No Man's Sky has already received a ton of updates, but even after the 19th one, devs at Hello Games are still coming up with new ideas.

After nineteen great updates the creators of No Man's Sky have no intention of slowing down. Sean Murray, head of Hello Games, assured that the team still has ideas for further development.

After more than five years the disastrous launch of No Man's Sky seems to be just a bad dream. The title, which on its debut day was criticized for a lack of content and broken promises, is now cited by many players as an exemplary production, which grows with each major update.

  1. In an interview with IGN Sean Murray talked about the studio's inexhaustible energy. With each update, the developers come up with ideas so quickly that the changelog - instead of decreasing - grows endlessly with new content, mechanics or fixes.
  2. Hello Games boss did not reveal anything specific, but assured that the team will not stop with the development of No Man's Sky for a long time to come.

Hello Games' new game - there will be no repeat of No Man's Sky

The developers' enthusiasm for the development of No Man's Sky after more than five years is as much a joy as it is a surprise. Especially in the context of another ambitious game on the scale of NMS.

Murray stressed that, for now, Hello Games' new project is in the "very early" stages of development, and the team has "learned its lesson" from the premature release of No Man's Sky. In other words, we shouldn't expect the game debuting or even being shown in the near future.
