Frozen 2 Cracks Competition in the Box Office

Frozen II dominated the American box office. The production had an almost twice as good opening as the Frozen.

The return of Frozen to the cinemas was a great success.

As predicted, Frozen II has conquered the U.S. Box Office. According to estimates, the film earned 127 million dollars on this market during the last weekend. After adding the results from other countries, the movie has already earned 350 million dollars.

This is the best ever result of an animated production on the American market in November. Frozen 2 also beat by 2 million dollars the opening Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part I and thus hit the top five of the best November opening weekends in the USA.

The film did much better than the first part. In the United States, the original Frozen earned 67.3 million dollars in the first three days after the premiere, and after five years this amount rose to 93.9 million.

The second place was taken by Ford v Ferrari. So far, the production has earned more than 103 million dollars in the world.
