Fresh news about GTA 6 coming soon? Fans have found another, slightly more legit clue
Rockstar Games may recall the existence of GTA 6 before February 6. At least that's what a new fan theory, surprisingly (relatively) plausible, suggests.
The desperation of Grand Theft Auto fans seems to be reaching its peak, but they are still in vain looking for the second trailer (or the first gameplay showcase). Now, after numerous speculations, internet users have another "certain" date for revealing new information about GTA 6 - although this time these speculations are much more based on facts. Which doesn't mean they will work out.
Let's face it: fans of the gangster series from Rockstar Games studio were able to find quite curious "teasers" for the sixth installment. However, this time, at least they have some basis for claiming that Take-Two may reveal the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 before February 6.
Last week, the company that owns the series' developers announced a conference for this day to summarize its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (ended December 31). Usually, Take-Two also mentions upcoming projects and GTA 6 is undoubtedly the most important of these positions.
To emphasize: there are no official signs whatsoever that early February will bring anything beyond a confirmation that GTA 6 is still being developed. Rockstar tends to reveal their games right before Take-Two's financial conferences that recap the final quarter of the calendar year, specifically around late January and early February (via Reddit). So it is possible that the devs will remind about GTA 6 before February 6th.
However, the comments under the threads about this "certain" date clearly show why it's better not to overdo it with enthusiasm. Practically with every such theory, there were probably assurances like "there's no way Rockstar wouldn't do this." These remarks were made during the lunar "teaser," and such comments were noted in relation to the approaching anniversary of the first trailer's debut. We all know what came out of it.
It is worth adding that, according to recent reports, the launch of GTA 6 is planned for the end of 2025. At the beginning of the year, Take-Two seemed certain of this deadline, and yet the game's release will surely be preceded by a long marketing campaign. After all, we are talking about arguably the most anticipated game of the current decade. This would finally give game publishers a sigh of relief because no one wants to directly compete with the new Grand Theft Auto.
