Free Next-gen Update of FIFA 21 is Now Available

EA Sports Studio announced in a tweet that a dedicated next-gen console update for FIFA 21 has been made available to „most players”.

It seems that the next-gen update for FIFA 21 was released a little earlier than the developers had announced. The patch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S versions was due to be released tomorrow, but as confirmed by EA Sports on Twitter, most players can download it now.

It's worth noting that the formal release date of the patch is still December 4, and only tomorrow you'll be 100% certain that you can download it (all indications are that the patch is gradually being made available to subsequent groups of players).

As a reminder, in addition to ninth generation consoles ,FIFA 21 is also available on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch version has been released with the so-called Legacy Edition, which differs from last year's release mainly with updated line-ups and player statistics.
