Forza Horizon 5 Gameplay Shows Stormy Expedition and Two Races
Check out the new gameplay from Forza Horizon 5, featuring a stormy expedition and racing behind the wheels of Chevrolet Corvette C8 and Toyota Supra GR.
If you were curious about the harsh weather conditions in Forza Horizon 5 check out this footage from the 26th minute onwards. It features a journey through the Mexican countryside in the new story-driven Expedition mode, which sees players travel in co-op to the ruins of Ek' Balam, an ancient Mayan site. Initial light cloud cover, preceded by gentle rain, develops into a thunderstorm. Later, a fog and downpour appear, and the whole environment is shrouded in darkness of dusk. While performing a series of tasks in such conditions, players maneuver among ancient ruins and traverse a muddy swamp area. In the second part of the trailer, we see the race from behind the wheel of Chevrolet Corvette C8 (16:15) on Horizon Mexico, and Toyota Supra GR (38:53) on Playa Azul.
More than 420 cars will be available for start in this latest installment of the racing game series, and this number is sure to grow with time. As you may remember, Forza Horizon 4 launched with 450 cars, and three years later there are already more than 750.
Forza Horizon 5 will debut on November 9 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass. Those who pre-ordered the Premium Edition will have access to the game from November 5.
