YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits decided to prepare a video comparing locations from Forza Horizon 5 and real-life Mexico. The footage isn't perfect, as it uses resources and images from Google Maps, but it still shows great attention to detail on the part of Playground Games.

The biggest difference is in the lighting, which has yet to come close to reality in video games. The vast terrains are much better, and thanks to photogrammetry they look like they've been transferred to the virtual world.
Forza Horizon 5 is available to those who paid for early access by buying the more expensive version of the game. Other players have to wait just under 12 more hours (until November 9) when the game will be unlocked on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
