FNAF Security Breach – Crashing, Loading problems and black screen

As fans have noticed, most of the problems connected to crashing and loading the game is due to mods. You should make sure to uninstall all not official content from your device. Go to this directory: SteamLibrary \ steamapps \ common \ Quarters \ fnaf9 \ Content \ Paks and delate folder Mods from it.

Some players suggest even to uninstall everything from Paks folder except fnaf9-WindowsNoEditor.

If above doesn’t help, you can also reinstall the game. It helps if you have problems with black screen. However, remember that by uninstalling we mean to wipe all files connected to FNAF Security Breach. A simple Steam uninstall will most likely not help you. Remove everything regarding the game from AppData/Local, you can enter it using this path: C: \ Users \ User name \ AppData \ Local. This file may be hidden. It is also necessary to clean your Steam folder from the leftover FNAF files. Remember that you will lose all save files doing so.
