Released in 2018, Among Us is undoubtedly one of the biggest gaming surprises of recent months. The game is currently breaking popularity records. But that's not the end of the story - Innersloth's game has inspired many users to make funny movies that refer to it. Among Us - videos on YouTube
A lot of fan movies about Among Us have appeared on YouTube. Some of them look quite professional.
There are some videos presenting surprisingly coherent and complicated stories - despite their short runtime.
Some of them even contain original songs recorded by the authors - below is an example of such a work by user CG5.
It's worth noting that creating similar stuff is a great way to rack in views on our channel. The most popular movie about Among Us has over 43 million views. There are also a few that have managed to break the 20 million mark. By comparison, Hogwarts Legacy's trailer on the official PlayStation channel has "only" 12.24 million views, and the first trailer of Baldur's Gate III, which debuts in early access today, boasts 2.25 million views. Even the first gameplay from Cyberpunk 2077, which has been awaited for years, has 20.7 million views on the official channel of CD Projekt RED. This is a great illustration of how an inconspicuous independent title that suddenly becomes a megahit can be a good tool for building popularity.
