As you can see, DiRT 5 came out at least well, although the vast majority of reviewers didn't go above 8/10. The reviewers point out some issues (most often excessive simplicity of gameplay, not very intriguing career mode) or shortcomings (few changes, nice but not outstanding visuals). However, most critics did enjoy playing the title, which offers a lot of content. The fifth installment of DiRT is a fun-filled title, full of interesting ideas and great, "colorful" and interestingly designed routes. The game does not disappoint when it comes to technical aspects, with even more critical reviews praising the optimization and fundamental lack of bugs.
Most journalists also agree in praising the arcade driving model. It will not appeal to gamers who want more realism, but it makes the game very accessible to those who haven't had much experience with Gran Turismo or the previous installment of DiRT series. In short, DiRT 5 is a great game for those who are looking for a casual virtual racing game. The title will be released on November 6 on PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but will also be available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 as a launch title for both platforms. For the PC version, we encourage you to check out the system requirements.
