As announced earlier, today we saw the release of a free DLC for Farming Simulator 22, entitled Precision Farming. The expansion can be downloaded by anyone interested via the official ModHub on all hardware platforms.

The DLC was developed in partnership with John Deere and EIT Food, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology in the Food Industry. Additionally, it has received funding from the European Union. The purpose of the DLC is to expand the knowledge of modern agriculture.

What is included in Farming Simulator 22: Precision Farming?

The DLC introduces a number of features that reduce the impact of our farms on the environment.

  1. After installing the DLC you will find new mechanics in the game, such as analysis of soil samples or fertilizer dosage. Thanks to this you will be able to save on seeds and fuel among other things.
  2. Along with new options, there is also equipment dedicated to them - ISARIA Scout for soil sampler, ISARIA PRO Active soil sensors, PRO Compact crop nitrogen meter and John Deere R732i sprayer.

Patch 1.4 for Farming Simulator 22

It is worth keeping in mind that along with the release of the DLC, update 1.4 has been released (also now available on all hardware platforms). Its installation is required for proper operation of the DLC. The patch mainly implements the Claas Xerion 5000-4000 tractor, Jungheinrich ETV 216 forklift and five machines representing a new brand - Czech company Salek. The patch also fixes a number of bugs. Full list of changes can be found here.
