Famously Critical God of War Creator Talks on Starfield
Creator of God of War and Twisted Metal David Jaffe, known for his critical approach to video games, has revealed what he thinks of Starfield. His opinion may seem surprising.
David Jaffe, lead designer and/or director of the Twisted Metal series and the first two installments of God of War - those from 2005 and 2007 - expressed on X/Twitter his opinion on Starfield. This is interesting because the developer - currently not involved in game development - has become known for his highly critical approach to many titles. Not to look far - for example, in May he reproved players prasing the visuals of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, claiming that they leave much to be desired.
So what does Jaffe think about Starfield? Despite the ugly - in his opinion - graphics and long loading times on the Xbox Series X, after three hours of play, the developer was positively surprised. After twenty he "couldn't stop playing" and was convinced that the work of Bethesda would land in his personal list of the top three titles of this year. Three days later - no longer stating how many hours he had spent with Starfield - Jaffe wrote, that according to him it is one of the three best games in general and recommends checking it out to all fans of the genre.
Bethesda is also trying to convince gamers that it has created a masterpiece. Developers boasted a number of "nines" and "tens", which Starfield has collected from editors around the world. Is it really such a good game? With this question I refer you to our review (below). Above all, however, it is worth seeing for yourself. The title is available since yesterday on PC and XSX/S, as well as in Game Pass.
