On June 21 Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout switched to free-to-play model. The developers at Mediatonic have just boasted the latest results of the project, and they are insanely impressive.
- Within two weeks of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's free-to-play version release the game was played by more than 50 million people.
- This result includes players on PC as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X. It is worth mentioning here that the paid version of the game was only available on PC and PS4.
- Earlier, the developers boasted 20 million players who joined the game within 48 hours of the release of the free-to-play version.

In March 2021, Mediatonic, the studio responsible for the game, was bought by Epic Games, but for a long time the title was still available on Steam. It disappeared from the service's offer only after the transition to a free-to-play model (now the PC edition can only be purchased through Epic Games Store). At the same time, the game debuted on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X consoles.
