F1 Manager 2024 Announced. We Finally Get Long-Awaited Feature
Frontier Developments studio announced F1 Manager 2024. The biggest new feature in this installment appears to be the long-awaited option to direct your own Formula 1 team.

The future of F1 Manager 2024 was uncertain, following reports of underwhelming sales of the 2023 edition and layoffs at Frontier Developments studio a few months ago -- however, the series is being continued. The game's official announcement was made today (you can watch its first trailer below), and it is set to be released in the summer of 2024 for PC, PS5, XSX/S, PS4, and XOne.
The most significant new feature in this release is the option that players have been asking for since the series began (i.e. since the 2022 edition) -- the ability to create their own Formula 1 team and manage it in the championships. We will define our own colors and make all the decisions from the ground up, from sponsor agreements to team selection (with drivers leading the way).
In addition, Frontier Developments studio promises many other improvements.
- All characters will have a mentality system that will manifest as individual personality traits, aspirations, expectations, and more.
- "Dynamic" contract negotiations will appear.
- Artificial intelligence will be improved - in terms of actions both on and off the track - and will gain the ability to "recruit" team members from us, for example.
- We will watch the races from new, dynamic cameras, observing improved "behaviors" on the track.
- The game depicts the modifications made to sprint races in the 2024 season (occurring before the qualifications for the actual competitions rather than after them).
Finally, we have the potentially most interesting info: F1 Manager 2024 will be significantly cheaper than the previous installments -- the suggested price is EUR 34.99 (approx. $38.25), while the 2023 edition cost $54.99.
- New spy RPG announced from Disco Elysium co-creators. In Project C4, we will take part in a ruthless, secret fight for truth and influence
