IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Rockfish Games revealed an Early Access roadmap for Everspace 2;
  2. Three updates will be released this year.

Rockfish Games released a roadmap for the Early Access version of Everspace 2. The nearest upcoming update is scheduled for April, this year. The next one is expected to arrive in the summer and the last one in the fall of 2021.

For starters, two new spaceships have been prepared, a companion that we'll be able to take with us on the conquest of space, additional missions, side quests, and activities, and adjustments to the game's balance prepared after listening to community feedback.

The second content update will bring another planetary system, and with it new races, enemies, and creatures. Everspace 2 will also feature an additional companion and the maximum level cap will be increased. Of course, there will be new missions and side activities as well.

The devs promise that in fall there will be two additional ship classes, fourth planetary system, a new companion, missions and side activities, as well as fast travel option. Once again, the maximum player level will be raised.

Looking at how the game was received and roadmap laid out by the devs, we can be optimistic about the final shape of the title.
