ETS2's Current Map is Impressive, Includes Roads From West Balkans
An ETS2 fan has created an up-to-date map of all the roads available in the game, including those included in the West Balkans DLC. The graphics are very impressive and show how huge SCS Software's work has become.
With more expansions, 2012's Euro Truck Simulator 2 has become a huge game. Its current size is well reflected by the map of available roads, which was compiled by Reddit user commandoby.

The user has superimposed the roads from the base game, as well as all the DLCs, starting with Going East!, Scandinavia and Viva la France!, through Italy, Beyond the Baltic, Road to the Black Sea and Iberia all the way to the upcoming West Balkans. It is worth recalling here that the launch of this latest expansion will take place in just three days, i.e. on October 19.

The graphics are very impressive - roads from each DLC have been marked with a different color, and next to the names of the DLCs we can see the flags of the countries whose areas they introduced (in most cases). It can be expected that this map will be updated when we learn more details about the 9th expansion for ETS2, titled Heart of Russia (which may not happen soon). Especially since it contains several errors in the names of cities, such as Warszava, Dower or Carliste. The devs have promised to correct this in its next version.
California from ATS will be beautiful again
As a side note, it is worth mentioning that SCS Software has reported changes to California in ATS.
- This time the developers focused on the western part of the region.
- By changing the scale, they were able to create space for additional road networks, as well as allowing for the expansion of cities and the introduction of new industries.
- One of the redesigned routes will be California's iconic CA-1/US-1 Coastline Scenic Route, leading from San Francisco to San Diego.
Below you can see some fresh screenshots showing these changes. For now, it is not known when they will hit the game.
