ETS2 Update 1.45 Brings New Hanover, Tankers and Multiplayer Improvements
Updates 1.45 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have been released. They bring, among other things, the ability to own tankers, better support for multiplayer mods and refreshed map elements.

Czech studio SCS Software has released update 1.45 for the games Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Some of the improvements and new features were introduced to both games, while others are only available in the selected item.
New features in 1.45 for ETS2 and ATS
- Players can finally take possession of tanker trucks.
- The operation of mods in Convoy mode has been improved, so that all modifications used by the host player are not required to play. In the case of minor projects, those missing from our collection will simply not be displayed. On the other hand, in the absence of key mods (for example, when someone uses a fan-made truck), a colorful lump of the appropriate size will be displayed.
- Added an option to use rain sensors that automatically adjust the operation of the windshield wipers according to the intensity of rainfall.
- Implemented an option to hide permanent signs indicating which roads are not available to the player. When using this feature, they are displayed only for a brief moment after hitting a particular roadblock.
ETS 2 and ATS players can finally get their hands on tankers.
New features in 1.45 only for Euro Truck Simulator 2
- The vehicles available to players has expanded to include trucks from JOST. For now, this includes MAN TGX Euro 6, Mercedes-Benz New Actros, Renault T, Scania Next-Gen S, Scania Next-Gen R and Volvo FH 2012, but others will be added in the future.
- Hanover has been heavily improved. The devspractically rebuilt this city from scratch and it presents itself much better now.
- Special videos showcasing Hanover and cities in Austria have been introduced, displayed when you select these spots as starting locations when creating a new profile.
- Owners of Krone Trailer Pack DLC received two new trailers.
New features in 1.45 only for American Truck Simulator
- The appearance of gas stations and truck stops has been refreshed.
- Owners of the Wyoming DLC received an additional town (Cody) and the US-14 highway.
