Escape from Tarkov technical alpha is live, see how to get in

Escape from Tarkov is currently being alpha tested. In order to participate in the closed alpha you need to have pre-ordered the game and filled some forms.

Enthusiasts of realistic first-person shooters are looking forward to be finally able to play Escape from Tarkov from the Russian studio Battlestate Games. Although the final release is most likely at least several months away, the game’s technical alpha is now live. Already invited are all who pre-ordered Edge of Darkness Limited Edition plus a few selected buyers of Left Behind Edition (or a more expensive one). Future invitations are going to be sent out in waves according to the date of pre-orders.

If you have pre-ordered Escape from Tarkov and want to be selected for the alpha, you also have to fill in the forms on the game’s official website as well as accept NDA. Yup, there is an NDA, so we won’t be seeing lots of new gameplay videos yet.

The current state of Escape from Tarkov is pretty rough, and Battlestate Games promises to continually update the game with bug fixes, performance tweaks, new features and content, etc. As for now, there is no info on when the game’s beta starts, let aside the final launch date.
