Escape from Tarkov approximate system requirements revealed
Escape from Tarkov approximate system requirements were revealed and turned up to be lower than expected. Besides, the game is not yet fully optimized.
Escape from Tarkov developers shared the game’s approximate system requirements on their Facebook page. Despite what we feared having seen amazing pre-alpha screenshots and gameplay videos, the game won’t require a NASA computer to run it. At the same time Battlestate Games highlights the fact that these are not final requirements and they may slightly change in the future as the game will be further optimized. What is more, even if your PC is below the minimum bar, it does not necessarily mean you won’t be able to play Escape from Tarkov.
Minimum system requirements
- Processor: dual-core processor 2.4 GHz (Core 2 Duo, i3) or 2.6 GHz (Athlon, Phenom II)
- RAM: 6 GB
- Graphic card: DirectX 9 compatibile with 1 GB RAM
- Sound: DirectX compatibile audio card
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
- Network: permanent connection to the Internet
- Disk space: at least 8 GB
Recommended system requirements
- Processor: quad-core processor 3.2 GHz (i5, i7) lub 3.6 GHz (FX, Athlon)
- RAM: at least 8 GB
- Graphic card: DirectX 11 compatibile with 2 GB RAM or more
- Sound: DirectX compatibile audio card
- OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit)
- Network: permanent connection to the Internet
- Disk space: at least 8 GB
Escape from Tarkov is now available for pre-ordering. There are several editions available, each one granting a beta pass. If you want to participate in the closed tests later this year, you can either pre-order the game or sign up for beta on the official website. Before the game is fully released, it will become available in early access.
