Enshrouded Received First Major Update. Devs Added New Area and Many Minor Changes

We have very good news for all Enshrouded fans. As recently announced, Keen Games studio today released the first extensive update to its survival RPG.

1. The highlight of update 0.7.1.0 is the Hollow Halls, a new area "with enemies and challenges corresponding to the level of the biome."
2. According to information provided by the devs, the dungeons offer "a multitude of new challenges and exciting rewards." Furthermore, players can expect numerous tasks to complete and an encounter with a new survivor.
3. However, developers warn that the journey to Hollow Halls isn't a "piece of cake." The devs advise players to prepare well and bring plenty of food with them, as well as a camp where they can rest while exploring hostile areas, as the opponents lurking there will test them.
4. While it's possible to go through Hollow Halls alone in theory, the developers stress the importance of having the support of friends.
5. The latest update isn't limited to just new territory and its content. Keen Games also took care of adding many other elements, such as decorations and furniture, which you can freely sit on.
6. The remaining novelties include bug fixes, stability improvements, visual enhancements, and changes in gameplay, among others.

Players' reactions

As you can guess, players welcomed the news of the Enshrouded update with great enthusiasm. The people who have already tested the changes are particularly pleased with the fix, which eliminated the problem that occurred on monitors with a refresh rate higher than 60 Hz. Nevertheless, we still have to wait for more specific opinions.

Enshrouded was released on Steam Early Access on January 24 this year. The game received a very warm reception, with positive opinions making up 86% of nearly 40,000 reviews.
