Enjoy PlayStation 3 exclusives on PC with PlayStation Now, launching today
PlayStation Now, Sony's streaming service giving PC & PS4 players the opportunity to play PS3 exclusives, launched today in the US. It requires a dedicated app and a DualShock 4 controller to work.
Have you always wanted to try out the Uncharted series, experience Heavy Rain or taste The Last of Us but lacked the dedicated piece of hardware known as PlayStation 3? Well brighten up, for this minor obstacle gets overthrown with the introduction of PlayStation Now, Sony’s streaming service that lets you play through the immense PlayStation 3 library on your PC, and becomes available today. Everything you need to get a kick out of it is a dedicated app, a PSN ID, a DualShock 4 controller, and an annual leave.
In case the last requirement cannot be met, plus you happen not to be made of money (PS Now is still a subscription-based service,) you can get your hands on the 7-day free trial, which is pretty much self-explanatory. And if you despise PCs in every possible way, but recently switched to next-gen (thus abandoning your old trusty & dusty PS3 crony,) remember that PlayStation Now doesn’t leave PlayStation 4 users empty-handed, for they can stream the games via their consoles just the way PC players do. Now, who’s feeling like conquering that 300+ titles library in a week?
