Elite Mod for Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 2 Version 2.9.8.3 Launches
Elite Mod, one of the most important modifications to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution, has received a new version.
Another version of Elite Mod, one of the most popular modifications to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution, has been released .
The new edition of the mod is numbered 2.9.8.3. The update mainly focuses on bug fixes. First of all, care has been taken to ensure that the frame rate does not reach ludicrously high levels (which was not difficult to do on modern PCs, as Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution is already eleven years old), which caused major audio problems.
Recall that Elite Mod is a project aimed at improving multiplayer gameplay. Initially, the authors focused only on improving balance and fixing bugs, but after publisher THQ stopped developing Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, modders began to make much more ambitious changes.
Currently, Elite Mod thoroughly redesigns the multiplayer mode. All factions have gained many additional units, and the creators have also introduced one new army in the form of Gray Knights, an order of Space Marines that focuses on using psionic abilities.
Elite Mod is currently the most important multiplayer mod for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution. It has a large and very active community, which organizes various tournaments and other events in addition to the matches themselves.
Vengeance of the Blood Ravens
Elite Mod is not the only noteworthy big modification for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution. Also worthy of interest is the project called Vengeance of the Blood Ravens. The mod reworks the game to better reflect the fictional realities of the universe of Warhammer 40,000, known from the books and comics. As a result, Space Marines become real killing machines, not just slightly more powerful infantry. In addition, the project increases the scale of clashes and introduces quite a few new abilities and equipment.
