As the name suggests, Network Test is primarily a trial for the multiplayer mode offered by Elden Ring. Participants play as characters prepared by the developers and roam the dungeons and open spaces, while testing the game's network module. This will enable the developers to detect any defects and problems that may arise.
Of course, for players a much more important issue is the opportunity to see Elden Ring in action, either on their own, or - like most - through unofficial gameplay footage.. Several such videos have already managed to appear. They were published both by trade journalists and people connected with FromSoftware's fan community. Unfortunately, this also resulted in a plague of scalpers, this time selling not consoles or graphics cards, but access codes to the Network Test of Elden Ring. Of course, for a "fair and attractive" price from 60 to even 500 dollars.
Elden Ring will debut on February 25, on Windows PC. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Until recently, the release date was January 21, but recently FromSoftware decided that the game needed more time. Nevertheless, fans are not complaining, because after long months with virtually no information about the game, the Internet is flooded with new reports about Elden Ring.
