EA Sports FC 24 Launches; Steam Users Sarcastic
EA Sports FC 24 has officially gone on sale, and it has already received the first reviews from Steaming users, which are not very enthusiastic.
Starting today, all EA Sports fans can compete on soccer fields in EA Sports FC 24. The refreshed football series, known until recently as FIFA, officially debuted on all platforms and received the first ratings from players.
A new beginning for the series
FIFA is history. From now on EA will be releasing its football brand under the banner of EA Sports FC - this change was to be a gateway for the developers to innovate.
Based on expert reviews, one can conclude that the new opening came out not too badly. Many editors gave the title high marks. Currently on Metacritic the game has an average rating of 75/100 for the PlayStation 5 version.
Worse are the first ratings from players on Steam. To date, the game has received almost 600 reviews, of which less than 50% are positive. In the reviews you can come across a rather popular phrase: "EA never disappoints when it comes to disappointing us."
Current the game's all-time peak on Steam is 47,383 concurrent users. Probably in the coming days we will know the real strength of the game, at least as far as Valve's platform is concerned - after all, the weekend is beginning and many fans have not yet started playing.
EA Sports FC 24 was released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The title can also be played as part of an EA Play subscription.
