EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Merger Date Revealed
We know the exact date when EA Play will be included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription on Microsoft consoles. It will happen on November 10, the launch date of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.
Earlier this month, the industry was abuzz with the news that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be given access to the EA Play subscription (basic version, not Pro) at no additional cost, which will enable them to play a number of productions from Electronic Arts' publishing directory. Now we know that on Xbox consoles the merger will happen exactly on November 10. The date is not a coincidence, because on the same day Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (via Eurogamer) will launch.
Unfortunately, PC players paying for the Xbox Game Pass will have to wait a little longer for the merger. For them, the option of downloading and running selected EA game on Windows 10 PCs at no extra charge will not appear until December.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription costs $1 for the first month, i.e. if we have not activated this service before. Afterwards, the fee increases to $15 a month. Among numerous attractions, it offers the opportunity to play various games on a mobile phone or Android tablet via the cloud. This option will also be used by some titles from EA Play's offer.
