EA Play 2021 to be Preceded by Three Separate Presentations
Electronic Arts has announced three events in July, which will precede EA Play 2021. They will be devoted to such games as Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends, games from independent teams and the Madden series.
The EA Play 2021 presentation is scheduled for July 22. It turns outthat the show will be preceded by several smaller events. Electronic Arts revealed their dates and what we can expect from them.
The Future of First-Person Shooters (July 8, 10 AM PT)
The series will begin with The Future of First-Person Shooters, which is a broadcast devoted to the upcoming Battlefield 2042, the development of Apex Legends and the future of the FPS genre in general. The conversation will feature Christian Grass (DICE general manager), Vince Zampella (co-founder of Respawn Entertainment) and Chad Grenier, who leads the team responsible for Apex Legends. The event will be hosted by Stella Chung from IGN.
EA Originals <3s Independent Studios (July 13, 10 AM PT)
Five days later we will see EA Originals <3s Independent Studios. True to its name, the event will focus on games from independent developers released under the EA Originals lineup. Hosted by journalist Todd Martens, the event will feature developers the likes of Velan Studios (Knockout City), Hazelight (It Takes Two, A Way Out), Zoink (Lost in Random) and Silver Rain Games (this studio has yet to announce its first game).
Madden NFL 22 All-Access: Scouting (July 19, 10 AM PT)
The third and final event leading up to EA Play 2021 will be Madden NFL 22 All-Access: Scouting. It will be hosted by Nick Mizesko, the series' esports commentator. He will be speaking to the developers at EA Sports about the history of the series so far and its future.
