Tsunekazu Ishihara from The Pokemon Company briefly mentioned that a core Pokemon game, in development by Game Freak, is headed for Nintendo Switch, but it’s at least one year away. Other than that no details were shared. However, according to a one-year-old rumor, this could be Pokemon Stars, an expanded, high-res version of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
