'Remove Polish From Dying Light 2'; Italian Players Protest

Dying Light 2 collects very positive reviews from players on Steam and fairly average from Metacritic users. A large part of the credit for this goes to the Italians, who are review bombing the game for lack of native dubbing.

Released on February 4, Dying Light 2 received very good reviews from users of Valve's platform (81% of more than 25 thousand reviews are positive). However, if you go to Metacritic, you will notice a much worse rating from players (5.2/10). What is the reason for this discrepancy? As it turns out, the "culprits" are the Italians, who did not like the fact that the game by Techland is not dubbed in their native language. As a result they conducted a so-called review bombing, demanding in their posts, among other things... removal of the Polish language version.

Two things are worth noting here. Firstly, Dying Light 2 has been translated into seventeen languages, seven of which are not fully localized (apart from Italian these are: Korean, Arabic, Czech, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese and Turkish). Secondly, not all negative entries about Dying Light 2 are about language issues - players also complain about other aspects, including the presence of the Denuvo DRM.
