Dragon Age The Veilguard Will Reward Both Great and Modest Deeds. Veilguard Achievements Include a Small but Amusing Reference to Inquisition
A list of achievements we will earn while playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard has appeared online. They include information on chapters, companions, and side activities.
Fans of the Dragon Age series, as well as RPGs in general, will be able to start their adventure in the latest installment of the series subtitled The Veilguard in just over 2 weeks. The game arouses many emotions and will definitely be one of the loudest premieres of the end of this year. Now, thanks to Exophase, we have its full list of achievements.
During the game, the players will be able to earn a total of 52 trophies, except for the PlayStation 5 console, where there are 53 due to the presence of an additional, platinum one. By delving deeper into their descriptions, we can somewhat predict what awaits us in the game.
WARNING: some of the achievement descriptions may be considered spoilers (and one of them certainly is – don't worry, we won't reveal any details in this text), so consider yourself warned.
Plot, companions and lack of falling damage
The list shows that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will consist of 14 chapters, and completing each one will grant a new achievement. Most of them are hard to deduce any plot details from, but the last one seems to hint at the identity of the final boss. So if you are tempted to look at the list, consider yourselves warned.
There are also several achievements that are most likely related to maximizing relationships with our companions. Some trophies will also require performing a specific action for the first time, such as equipping a rune or changing the appearance of an item. Additionally, in the game we will collect at least 80 so-called mementos, and we will encounter more than one dragon to slay.
The creators also took care of a small wink towards the fans. Achievement called "Nostalgia Trip" can be obtained by testing fall damage at the Lighthouse. This is a reference to the Skyhold location from Inquisition, which also served as a hideout and had this damage disabled, which caused players to often jump from great heights to shorten their route.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard will debut on October 31 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S. The game has already gone gold, so the premiere is almost certainly unthreatened. From the latest information, we know that the game is set to offer some elements known from previous parts of the series, and the creators are advertising it with the slogan "return to the roots". Unfortunately, the impact of our choices made throughout the entire cycle will be greatly limited.
