Let's take a look at pre-loads and release times. Let's start with the fact that on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the fun will start at 12:00 AM ET on March 20 and at 12:01 am ET on Stadia, while PC players (whether they use Steam or Bethesda.net) will be able to play at 12:01 AM ET. As for the pre-load, Xbox One owners can start downloading the game now, but PCs and PlayStation 4 players will be able to do so 48 hours before the game is released.
On all consoles the game will run in 60 fps. However, on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro it will run at 1440p resolution, scaled to 4K. Owners of standard PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox One consoles will have to settle for 1080p. Doom Eternal will also support HDR technology, but only on Xbox One X and Stadia, where it will run in 1080p (or if you have a 4K screen - 1440p scaled to 2160p) and 60 fps (obviously).
The game will introduce many changes compared to the original, and you can read about them in our preview. The title will appear on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
