Do People Really Hate Hufflepuff in Hogwarts Legacy? Confusing Trophy
Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin? Which house do players in Hogwarts Legacy choose most often? We have a partial answer, but it's inconclusive.
Users start playing Hogwarts Legacy, in droves. One of the first and more important decisions they have to make is which house they want to belong to. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin?
As long as studio Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. won't release official data, we can only guess at the direction of players' choices. Four achievements, however, help us draw some conclusions, namely:
- The Gryffindor in the Graveyard;
- The Auror's Apprentice;
- The Wise Owl;
- The Toast of the Town.
Each of these involves reaching the Map Chamber while being a member of a different house - Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, respectively. However, this is not the ideal way to measure it, as this trophy is not earned until the 22nd story mission. In turn, it takes at least 5 hours to reach it - and that's assuming that you focus solely on the main story, basically not exploring the world or doing side quests.
We've prepared interactive maps for Hogwarts Legacy that contain the game's secrets, collectibles, Merlin trials, collection chests, ancient magic hotspots, sidequests and more. Make sure to check out our original guide and the interactive maps.
However, if one bases this criterion, the data on the individual platforms are as follows (those from Xbox seem a tad inflated compared to the rest):
PC (Steam) | PS5 | XSX/S | |
Gryffindor | 14,5% | 17% | 28,9% |
Hufflepuff | 8,2% | 7,4% | 14,6% |
Ravenclaw | 15,8% | 12,9% | 21.3% |
Slytherin | 19,4% | 19,4% | 31,6% |
Slytherin rules indivisibly, while Hufflepuff seems to be the most shunned. However, as I mentioned, don't worry too much about this statistic - especially if you have joined the Puffs - as it shows how many people have made it to a given point in the storyline, rather than reflecting the actual choice of house made by players.
