Today marks the launch of Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, the seventh installment of the popular series of strategy-tactical jRPGs. Nippon Ichi Software has prepared the game for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Nintendo Switch.
- At the time these words are being written, there are about 7 hours before the game is unlocked on Steam and PlayStation Store; in both cases we have not learned its price.
- In Nintendo store the game is also not yet available, although we do know that its basic version has been priced at $59.99.
The first reviews of the project have also seen the light of day. OnMetacritic, average note for Disgaea 7: Vow of the Virtueless issues by industry media is currently 82/100 (for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions).
- Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless continues the narrative traditions of its predecessors.
- The game is set in the demonic land of Hinomoto and focuses on the adventures of the lazy and greedy samurai Fuji and a girl named Pirilika.
- The game offers turn-based battles, extensive battle mechanics, world exploration, character progression (it is worth mentioning that grind is one of the key mechanics in the series) and more than 40 character classes.
- Although the title is designed for single player, it includes online features such as automatic battles with other people's teams and their rankings.
