Dirt Showdown given away by Humble Store
If you have never tried out Dirt Showdown, an arcade spin-off to the Codemaster's rally series, you can now do it for free thanks to Humble Store's giveaway.
Humble Store is now offering digital PC version of Dirt Showdown – an arcade spin-off to the rally game series from Codemasters Software, true veterans of the genre. As it is always the case with giveaways, the offer is time-limited, ending tomorrow on 10 A.M. PST, so if you want to add the Burnout-meets-Dirt racing game to your ever-expanding Steam Library, you should consider doing it asap. Apart from the Steam key for Dirt Showdown you will get a 10% off coupon for new subscribers to Humble Monthly (it expires on February 3, 2017).
In November 2016 Humble Store was also giving away Dirt 3: Complete Edition. Since then that title has gone missing from the store’s offer, just like it did from Steam and GOG. A similar fate met two other games from Codemasters: GRID and F1 2013, which we wrote more about in this story.
By the way, it’s worth to check out the current Humble Bundle offer, which includes games by independent developers, which has been getting overwhelmingly positive Steam users reviews. These include Day of the Tentacle: Remastered by Double Fine Productions, a remake of Lucas Arts’ 1990s classic adventure game.
