Diablo 4's Most Terrifying Boss Just Got Scarier; Here's How it Happened
Diablo IV players are reporting a boss roaming Nightmare Dungeons whose stature is dizzying. We know what's behind the creature's size, and it's by no means due to drinking milk.
Diablo IV, as well as previous installments of the series, is filled to the brim with all sorts of bosses, which we have to face from time to time. And although each of them is to be feared, there is one that arouses special terror in players.
The Butcher - for he is the beast in question - is one of the most challenging opponents in Diablo IV. Encountering this nasty monstrosity heralds certain death, or at best, serious losses to our party.
However, it turns out that this is not the worst variant of this boss. Much more dangerous is the XXL-sized Butcher. This giant creature was encountered in the Nightmare Dungeon by a player nicknamed IronHeart_77..
"We were walking through the Nightmare Dungeon when suddenly this huge beast, the Butcher, came running down the corridor towards us. I've never seen one of this size before, sorry for the poor view, but I didn't know if I had found some shiny alpha Butcher," explained the unfortunate player on Diablo IV's sibreddit.
Contrary to what the player thought, he did not encounter any unique version of the creature. Reddit users explained that the size of the Butcher was the result of the Avenger mod. Interestingly, a good number of users were of the opinion that such a size suits the Butcher and should remain so. Still others wondered whether there was any limit to the monster's height and whether it was possible for it to reach the ceiling of dungeons with its head.
